Kelle had a great time at her Horseback riding lesson. The lesson was won in the UU Services Auction last year from Karen Damato. Kelle’s instructor Luis was fantastic as was her horse Asia. The stables and the horse farm were beautiful.

I finally figured out how to create an iTunes podcast. I know, I know – so many people have done this. But hey, it’s my first! I have used the podcast I’ve developed with George Sexton at the Unitarian Church in Summit. I worked out all of the detail on how to get this podcast registered with Apple. A lot of details needed to be worked out – how to set the category, the keywords and all that stuff. Well I got it done!
You can find the podcast on iTunes here! You can also listen online at the church web site that I manage.
Take a listen….

Whenever I hear on the news that a certain movie had a great opening weekend and set a revenue record, I always knew the info wasn’t quite right. The price of tickets is higher than its ever been, so what kind of record are we talking about? It it costs $12 for someone to see a movie now, and $4 back in the 80’s, then the overall boxoffice take isn’t telling us much.
I always thought that reporting on the total number of tickets sold would make more sense. But Len Penzo decided to take inflation into account. He determined the top grossing movies of all time, but based on inflation adjusted dollars. Check out the article here.
